Beijing, 24th April 2024 (BISTU)--- The award ceremony of the 13th Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award and the 2023 China Artificial Intelligence Industry Annual Conference (CAIIAC 2023) were held in Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP). “Innovation and entrepreneurship modules in AI-related programs” led by Prof. Chen Wenbai of Automation School was granted a tier-2 award of 2023 CAAI (China Association for Artificial Intelligence) Teaching Achievements.  

The Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) was founded in 1981. It is now the only national-level academic association in the field of intelligence science and technology, officially authorized by the Ministry of Civil Affairs in China. The CAAI is also a four-star (AAAA) social organization and an official member of the China Association for Science and Technology. The teaching achievements award aims to implement the strategy of invigorating China through science and technology, enhancing the quality of talent cultivation, and promote AI education in China.  

The 2023 teaching achievements award covers 8 tier-1 winners and 10 tier-2 winners. “Innovation and entrepreneurship modules in AI-related programs” incorporates innovation and entrepreneurship education in talent cultivation and builds a multi-layer and multi-module curriculum based on science-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation.  

The Team of “Innovation and entrepreneurship modules in AI-related programs” has been working in this area for years and has successfully, organically combined teaching with subject competitions, online learning with offline teaching, and innovation and entrepreneurship with social practices.
