Beijing, 22nd April 2024 (BISTU)---　Jointly sponsored by Zhongguancun Fintech Industry Development Alliance and Beijing Zhilian Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (Educhainx) and organized by BISTU, Conference of Fin-tech Innovative Development & Empowerment Plan (Beijing) for Industry-Learning-Research of Financial Studies in Universities successfully completed at Shahe Campus.  

Dean Zhang Jian of BISTU School of Economics and Management extended warm welcome to all experts and participants of the Conference. He stressed that the integration of finance and technology brought new challenges to economics and management programs in universities. Cultivation of fin-tech-oriented thinking, technology, and competence became increasingly important.  

Liu Yong, Secretary-Chief of Zhongguancun Fintech Industry Development Alliance and Head of Zhongguancun Internet Finance Institute, pointed out that universities generally had rich experiences in deepening industry-learning-research collaboration, knowing industrial demand, and understanding future tendencies of industries, in addition to introduction of the latest fin-tech philosophies and technologies. Working together with universities would help greatly in nurturing high quality talents in fin-tech.  

President Liu Quanbao of Educhainx expressed that digital transformation has raised new requirements on cultivation of financial talents. And integrated development of green finance requested that universities should nurture fin-tech talents with professional knowledge, practical capabilities, and innovative spirit.  

Ideas on fin-tech and other areas were also shared by Yang Xiaoqiang, senior research fellow of Zhongguancun Internet Finance Institute, Wang Xuesong, Head of Zhongguancun Zriver Capital Merger & Acquisition and Recapitalization Institute, Guan Xin, a senior expert in bank fin-tech, and Zhou Bo, Planning Director of Educhainx.  

The Conference of Fin-tech Innovative Development & Empowerment Plan (Beijing) for Industry-Learning-Research of Financial Studies in Universities was aimed at building a platform for enterprise-university exchange and communication and deepening university-enterprise cooperation. Focus in the future would be put on nurturing fin-tech professionals with practical capabilities and innovative spirit.  

Vice Dean He Qiong of School of Economics and Management chaired the event. And the Conference was attended by over 50 experts and scholars inclusive of faculty from other universities.
